About Us

First A cappella group formed in az

Established in 1992, The ASU Pitchforks are proud to be going on their 28th year being the premier group at not only Arizona State University, but in all of Arizona! This girl gang stands for female empowerment and diversity, consisting of a wide variety of majors and ladies from all walks of life. The Pitchforks are involved in a variety of different avenues, from recording EPs, performing on Arizona Midday, winning ASU Got Talent, and even philanthropic events.

All female and all powerful

Because the Pitchforks are made up of all women, these ladies span all voice parts ranging from soprano to lady-bass. This allows members to explore and expand their ranges as they grow and flourish in the group. The unique sound of an all-female group allows for the tones of arrangements to almost sound angelic and perfectly blended and light, a perfect storm of voices. Furthermore, the ASU Pitchforks stand for female empowerment and showing just how powerful a #girlgang can be.

Beyond the arrangements

The ASU Pitchforks stand for more than just making music. Tuesday and Thursday nights, these ladies rehearse for 3 hours, learning arrangements made by their very own members. Past that, however, the ASU Pitchforks are proud to house a friendly environment for forming life-long friendships and pushing each other to grow whether that be musically, or in life. Many of the members come from all different walks of life and majors which makes this group a unique hub for everyone to come together and just sing.
